Thought on Porsche replica wheels

I never used them on my Boxsters, there was always someone that had nice Porsche wheels for sale. I'm thinking of upgrading from 18s to 20s on my new Cayenne Diesel. Maybe this is one of those topics where folks either say never would use replicas or they are just fine.

It's also interesting how small the selection of tires is.

Has anyone gone from 18s to 20s on steel suspension and if so is the ride still fine. I don't have PASM.

I went from 18 to 22s on the stock suspension and the ride is fine. I think mine are tech art replicas, but I'm not sure.

Nothing wrong with replica wheels. Most rims come from the same mill. Mark ups start when rim companies like HRE, BBS, MAYA, etc… stamp their names on them. I had replica 22” AMG wheels on my previous vehicle & had no problems. They even withstood the mean streets (potholes) of NYC.

I have real black turbo II wheels and like them, I have not seen reps in person but I bet they look the same.
TighTT- mine look like yours but they are 100% black- no silver ring on outside
