Porsche Car Connect

For those with Porsche Car Connect (US), are you able to lock / unlock your doors?

The manual says I should be able to (since I have the entry/drive option) but all I see is the "fold mirrors" option on the screen where I should also see lock/unlock. My phone is set up on PCC as "expert" mode which should give me all functions. ???

Dealer just heard back from Porsche. Apparently the "lock" feature was put on cars with production week 45+. Mine was 44.

Not sure why Porsche publishes features, but rolls them out over several weeks after production starts. Seems like they would start them all at the same time. I would understand if it was 6 months later...but this is like a month into production of the MY15 that they added that function.

Cool feature and that would frustrate the crap out of me - maybe a software upgrade can fix this?

Called Porsche to follow up on this. Long story short, my car was made during week 44 and the lock option started with week 45. There is no retro-fit option.

They did offer to send me a check for $550 (the value of the PCC) which I thought was pretty generous.
