Hi all

I have a 2010 (UK car) CTT done 51k miles and the car comes with PDCC, PTV and servotronic steering.

From the first few days of my ownership I have heard

1. A groaning from the steering column area when turning right at slow speeds (into a junction for example).

2. A knocking noise as if bushes are worn but its all the time, almost like birds chirping under the car when driving at slower speeds of say 30mph

3. An occasional dragging feeling from the rear when pulling away, as if the rear wheels arent in tandem with the front, or the rear tyres are breaking traction? The acceleration is moderate, no screeching away or anything, but the car feels like its trying to let go at these low speeds?

Are these noises (sorry for the poor descriptions) normal for a CTT please? It feels very mechanical and almost as if all these sytems are out of sorts and need some attention or something?

If I put it into Sport, I am half convinced it helps stop the noises and strange feeling, can it be true?

Local OPC is a 2 hour drive and they want the car all day so 4 hours to possibly hear them say "we cant hear it" or "its normal sir".

Id appreciate some feedback guys?

Car is on very good Pirelli N1 tyres all round.

Sounds like you have some issues.... don't have any of those problems with my CTT and I have the same chassis options as you.

 

Any idea what might be up?

The knocking noise is more like a load of chickens gobbling or something lol, sorry for the poor description?

I cant believe bushes would be wot at 50k miles, is that a likely diagnosis?
