How Can I Reset Service Indicator Please?

Hi all

Does anyone know how to reset the oil and interim service indicators in the cluster please? My CTT was serviced on collection but the dealer didn't reset the indicators and now they are flashing at me to say service due, when its not.

Its a 10 hour round trip to take it back and my local Porsche centre wont do it ofcourse, is there a way I can do it? I watched a video on Youtube where a guy was doing something with the scroll buttons on the steering wheel but it wasn't in English so maybe did something i don't know about because it didn't reset when I tried it?

Appreciate the help if anyone knows how it can be done, or if it can be done without equipment?

Thanks

Carl

Dealer should have done it for you and I'd make them suck it up and reset it since they did the rest of the work.

Unfortunately to the best of my knowledge you need either a PIWIS2 (Porsche Tech laptop) or a Durametric (and clearing SIs is about all it does on the 958 which makes it pricey for what you get). I do not know of any other way to clear the SIs

Maybe there is a local Porsche Indy that will clear them for you if they have a Durametric?

We use the PIWIS 2 for all newer generation cars - glad you got it done locally and all is well!
