I picked up my new Cayenne S yesterday and the first thing I noticed was the very poor resolution on the digital screen beside the tachometer compared to my 911. The screen on my 911 was very sharp -- as good as the PCM. But I can see the pixels in the screen on my Cayenne.

Am I just being too picky?

 

I just picked up my 2016 CS 2 weeks ago and I don't have any problems with it. Do you have any pictures? Does it look any different than one on the dealer lot?

 

It's not a "problem," per se, just an annoyance that the resolution isn't as sharp as the one in my 991.

 

I thought the newer cayennes had higher resolutions on their dash. I have a 2013 cayenne and I do notice a big diff in resolution between pcm and dash. Does not bother me too much though.

 

The res. is really poor on the cayenne, even worse than BMW.
