does anyone know the size of the oil drain plug washer for 2014 v6? need to find one locally because it did'n't come with the filter i ordered online. dealer is too far.
has anyone ordered v6 oil filter kit from suncoast before? the online pic shows the filter, rubber gasket and replacement drain plugs. does it actually include all that for $27?

 

I think i have one. I'll try to remember to check when I get home. Its not a plain washer though so you can't get it at Home Depot or something

If you have a VW or Audi dealer closer to you, its the same washer that the TReg and Q7 TDIs.

 

just got back from autozone. they can order a drain plug with washer for $1.24!!! it takes 5 days though.

i just got a replacement lug and washer from local audi/vw dealer with some additional washers. big thanks to Audi Reading, Pa parts people. super helpful. didn't charge me a penny knowing i'm getting this for a cayenne not bought from them. price is super reasonable too. $3 something for the lug and $1 for washers. told me that if i'm to re-use the lug with the new washer, i need to cut the old washer off first. the new washers are hollow donut like and flattens when you tightens it. so don't get aftermarket washer for factory drain lug!!!

p.s.
i just changed the oil for a v6. the lug on the bottom of suncoast pic is the oil drain lug. what is the upper lug???

 

The top one looks more like i remember my plug. I think some (older?) models had two drain plugs, maybe they were lazy and reused an old pic?

 

I'm attempting to do an oil change for the first time and found this thread. The top drain plug in the picture is for the oil filter. The bottom one is the engine drain plug.
