Dashboard Gear readout--where'd it go?
On my 2011 Cayenne (I purchased CPO 6mo ago), I just noticed that the digital gear selected readout in the center of the speedometer is not working. It is blank, doesn't read out the gear I am driving in.
Is there a switch or is there a reason it's not reading out the gear I'm in? or is it simply broken?
Is this readout linked to any other functionality?

Regarding the lights next to the digital gear display. Are they working? Do they light up appropriately when you are in R, N, D, or M?
Looks like the digital gear display is broken. I don't find an "off" function for it in the manual. The display lights status for R, N, D, or M may give the dealer a clue as to what has caused the fault. I would expect it to be covered under CPO since it is not a wear item. Good Luck.
Another thought, how old is your battery? The electronics can start acting flaky if the battery is nearing it's last legs.
