Auto Stop/Start - uncomfortable acceleration

I'm reading over on the Macan Forums that their 2016 cars STILL have the ability to keep the start/stop feature off permanently...unsure on 2017 models.

I am not doubting that. I just know it will not retain on mine. I have tried every method I read online and none of them work. I even questioned the regional technical manager about this topic and he said can't be done on mine.

Now something i am noticing is the feature rarely engages after porsche replaced my engine. It used to happen all the damn time with the original engine. Maybe something to do with climate changes but the HVAC is barely running itself now days due to nice outside temps. The original engine would been from May last year to August, a time range the AC been running a good bit which I know typically prevents the feature due to high fan speeds.
