So the guys who didn't like the blue rings - probably wouldn't go for: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1-se...418406593.html

BTW - I ordered the storage cubbies. Funny thing - the listing says something along the lines of: "This is Not the genuine VW Parts,Just is the aftermarket parts" Guess they wanted to be clear on that..

Those storage cubbies are great. Thanks for posting them up as I'll be getting/ordering a set.

Fyi, they are available on Amazon and they are in fact great. A bit small, but I have a black interior and you cant see them. I now have a place for wallet and phone. I also got the tray linked below for the center console:

Here is the link for the cubbies, I paid a bit more on Ebay but then ordered these for a buddy and they are the same:

Mine arrived and are fine. My cell phone pretty much fits in one. At least it takes it out of the cup holder.

I also saw the replacement liner/tray for the center console, but since my center console is pretty much a wire bin for USB/Apple chargers - and we no longer use exact change or tokens for toll highways, and I couldn't think of anything small enough to want to hide in the tiny little bin with the cover on it - I resisted. So far.

true, there isn't much use for the center console tray but I couldn't resist! I keep some access cards, a spare cc for emergencies, and recently I found a pair of sunglasses that also fits!

They changed the interior of the center console for '17, so I don't think that will fit.

I have a door-ding right on the raised part of the door that this decal fits over. I'm visiting a PDR guy probably later this week to see if he can get it out without major problems. If not - the decal might be just the thing to disguise it. At least it's on the passenger side so it doesn't make me mad every time I get into the car. Wonder how fooking stupid and low life people have to be to have that little regard for other people's cars..

You could also probably have a local vinyl shop do a section. Possible in the same color, 'close enough' or contrasting for a 'look'. Like an arc intended to ward off stone chips, but in this case to hide the ding. Likewise, many have CAD equipment that could do something 'less hideous' than that decal.

The state of vinyl coverings is pretty amazing. They can do all kinds of things with it. And all you have to do is peel it off later if you want to change the look. Price often ends up being about the same as paint if you're doing the whole vehicle, as prep is often the most expensive part.

They don't view cars like we do. To them, it's a mode of transportation and bumping your door with theirs is acceptable. Same as those in San Francisco who use your bumper to let them know when they have to change direction while parking.

I asked a woman to allow me to move my car before her daughter exited her car. She didn't understand and her daughter got out and whacked my door. I went ballistic on her and they thought I was the crazy one. Well, they were a little right as I'm a bit psyco with my car.
