Recommendations for transfer case oil

I searched this forum and did not find a good answer other than some buried in the TC failure thread, so I figured it would be a good idea to ask. Then there will be the information out there for others in the future.

What does everyone recommend for transfer case fluid? This would be for a 2011 Cayenne S 4.8L

I saw a post on rennlist recommending this.
Amazon Amazon

Does anyone have any experience using this fluid? Im looking at changing my for maintenance. I currently have no symptoms or problems with it.

The Ravenol below or OEM updated fluid. The most important thing is it be changed in general.

I did a TC fluid change on my 2014 Cayenne. I was so surprised that the fluid is so black @ 35K miles. The car is running Great, no worries, still under warranty. I used Porsche TC fluid from https://www.sunsetporscheparts.com/o...1l-00004330563.

I also do oil change as well. Transfer case plugs are right there.

Please remember to use the new plugs. Thank you some members in forum to mention about new porsche plugs with seal. I will bring my car to Porsche FJ dealer in Bay area CA next April to check out before my warranty expire.

Here are few attached pictures.

Have fun.

Careful to use the correct fluid. There is a different one for active TC vs non locking. I don't think that picture is correct for the locking which is RAVENOL Transfer Fluid DTF-1 or Porsche OEM.
