I'm thinking on pulling the trigger on a certified CTT. It has everything except the chrono/clock on top of the dash.

My question is, is the sport chrono really worth it on the CTT? On my 997.1TT it has it's uses. Is the sport chrono just for lap timing on the CTT? Does it affect performance?

It does not affect performance. I got the clock and it rattles sometimes. If you found a CT without this then it's less headache for you Good luck with your purchase! you're going to love the CT.

 

LOL thank you for the funny and honest response. After months of searching I think I found my CT.

 

The sports chrono can be DIY'd easily. You can choose to add an analog watch or chrono watch, or both. "Both" means adding electronic chrono watch in round LCD and an analog clock on center dash. Many people complain the noisy analog watch. You just need to but one made in or after 2013. But honestly speaking, I seldom using my chrono watch on road.
