Pulled Trigger on '16 CTT..
Pulled Trigger on '16 CTT..
Well after 4 years with the '12 CS we have decided to go with a '16 CTT. I could not believe that the earliest build date is November but it just goes to show you how limited or popular these cars are (this did not help with negotiations). Honestly I will say that the CS was the best car (dollar for dollar) I have ever bought so there are big shoes for the CTT. Anyhow here is the build, we have till end of September to make changes to the configuration. (still not 100% on White Metallic versus White) so opinions would help.

One of my must have options is the sport design package. I can't stand all the plastic black on the bottom and really don't understand why so many are not order with the kit. Assuming it's the $5k charge but even on the 911s it's night and day.
Also, if you are on the short side or have kids the 18 way is a pita to get in and out versus the 14 way seats. I've only had the 18 way on my last 2 958 but drove a loaner with 14 and liked it much more.
Just my 2cents and either way it's a awesome car.

Haven't seen anything in person regarding the whites so don't really know. I would lean towards the newer white just because it's new to be honest.
Regarding the bottom trim I guess it depends on what look you are going for but you are absolutely correct the black does make it look more rugged.
Try the 18 way seats a bit before making your decision. With my twins the 18 way caused the rear to be nearly impossible to put 3 car seats in since the middle was useless.

Prior to my 2016 CTTS in Black
I had a 2014 CTTS in White. It was gorgeous..Would not choose metallic white as the brillance of the pure white is lost IMHO.
Since you did not choose black rims I guess thats not your desire, but it really gives the car the LOOK
