Sound when locking/unlocking 955

Hi

Im new to Porscha and now own a 04 turbo. One thing that annoys me is the key remote. Same button to open and lock... Noe sounds, just blinks.... Not always do i remember to look at the lights if they did blink and i have to check and do it over...

Is there a way to get a confirmation sound that its locked?

I will have many questions comming. Have been reading alot and learned alot...

Will order some parts... Rockauto.com seem to have some parts for my model... Anyone have experiance with them"
Im wanting to tune/chip/ reprogram my car...a company in poland have tune for my 450hp to 530hp... Wold i need exhaust, open air filters and so on to get full gain ore culd 530hp be possible as is?
I just installed a Alpine X801D-U 8" Navi with DAB and so on...will post pictures and some info soon: http://www.alpine.co.uk/p/Products/n...stems6/x801d-u

You can turn on horn chirp with lock unlock in the menu setting. It's the buttons on the wiper stalk on the right. Use the button on the end to navigate up or down and the button on the bottom to select.

There are a lot of us who have tunes done by different companies. You can do just the tune and then add intake, exhaust and that kind of stuff as you wish.

I've done tune, exhaust, diverter valves, chased down vacuum leaks, etc. I still want to do intake and a bigger exhaust. Then I'm probably done unless someone comes up with a way to do bigger or better turbos fairly cheaply.

I don't have any experience with Rockauto. I generally use these places for most parts....

I imagine it's the same as my 05. On the wiper stalk there are buttons on the end, push up or down and it should change the display to different settings. One should say "to main menu"..then you push the button on the bottom side of the stalk to select it. Navigate the menu in the same way.

This is not my video but this guy show shows what I mean...

Yes it should be in the owner's manual. I had to look again though, it's under Main menu-setting-comfort-door opening- then you can tick the box next to flashers or horn or both.

Incredible. I'm glad I came across this thread. I've owned my 04 CTT for 10yrs and have never explored the main menu setting. Unfortunately the alarm horn is buried under the junction box and needs to be replaced. Maybe I'll lean into the 'sick pig' alarm sound for a bit. lol
