957 Turbo... Tune or Upgrade?
957 Turbo... Tune or Upgrade?
I currently have a 2008 CTT with the Fabspeed secondary cat delete & Tubi exhaust. I do NOT have an IPD Plenum or EVOMs intakes but could of course easily add.
From what I understand I should be able to get at least an extra 60-80 HP depending on which tuner's software I go with and who you believe etc.
However, I cannot help but think that if I had a 957 CTTS I would have a better platform to add power (not to mention start with 50 more).
Am I crazy or do the CTTS verions of the Manifold, TB, & Plenum not offer more power potential?
I would have to spend about $5-6k to upgrade to a similar mileage CTTS. If you were me, what would you do?

Your horsepower hungry. Stick with your setup and upgrade. Would you exchange power for exterior and interior upgrades?
Loved my 955.
Do yourself a favor, go sit in or test drive a 958 (preferably ins TT) in any color combination.

Thanks for the reply elite1.
I have driven a couple 958's actually. The interior is a big upgrade, but I still vastly prefer the exterior of the 957. If the power train of the 958 was a significant improvement I'm sure that would sway me, but it isn't.
Part of my hesitance is a bad coding experience by a non-factory tech on a simple TPMS issue. Cost a lot to ultimately have diagnosed/fixed. I think that's made me gun-shy from flashing if there are other options.
