CTT Takes on 2008 AKA Rally

Alright guys, Just got back from another amazing AKA Rally......

This year we started in NYC and ended in Vegas, with some spectacular events in between......

I'm going to start this thread off with some of my pre-rally prep....

First off, New Parts ordered:

1. Techart Lowering Module -- A huge thanks to Alex@wheelexperts for hooking up a great deal and getting me the module in such a short amount of time.....

2. OEM Porsche Turbo S intercoolers -- Ordered and installed by Porsche of the Main Line (formerly brandywine Porsche) A big thanks to the techs over there also......they got me all setup within the last few days before the rally.

3. OEM Porsche CGTS Enlarged Rear Spoiler -- Unfortunately I couldnt get this painted and installed in time, but it will be on the car shortly.

4. (2) Spare 22iinch Sport Techno replicas in case of any mishaps on the road, I wrapped these spares in BFG G-Force KDW's

5. Did a 40k service and replaced all of the brake pads, sensors and fluids.

6. Fabspeed Exhaust Clean-up: Since I had the FIRST Fabspeed exhaust ever......I took it back to have it tightened up while also adding their new copper gaskets!! Joe@Fabspeed really hooked me up and had all this done in less then an hour, while i was relaxing quite comfortably in their plush waiting area, trying to not drool on all the other hot cars they had there!!

7. Perzan Auto Radio--I have come to expect nothing less but perfection from Larry and the rest of the guys over at Perzan, their attention to detail is outstanding and I want to give them a big thanks for checking and re-checking all of my audio equipment as well as my radar/diffuser, which came in quite handy!!!!

Now for some pics:
===Pre-Vinyl===

Ok......so the rally began on Monday the 18th of August.....

Start: Tarrytown NY to Columbus OH
Columbus OH to Cedar Rapids IA
Cedar Rapids IA to Hastings NB **Track Event**
Hastings NB to Denver CO
Denver CO to Moab UT ** Whitewater Rafting/John Waynes Ranch**
Moab UT to Salt Lake City UT **Go-Kart Event**
Salt Lake City UT to Las Vegas NV ** Dune Buggies**

The Track Event was help at MPH (Motorsport Park Hastings, www.racemph.com) This was my first track event, and definitely wont be my last!!! The CTT KILLED it at the track, I was so impressed!!!

We even had a chance to race 2 modded CTT's and lets just say all eyes were on us!!!

A few questions and statements.
First NICE Chal 604/601.
Second, which diffusior do you have installed and where?
Can you please take some pictures of those plaements of the sensors and interior shots.
I am installing the LI (laser interceptor) this next week and need suggestions on mounting positions.
Thanks.

The track pics of the two peppers, WOW- I would have loved to have been there. Update with more pics, subscribed

I am running the Beltronics RX75 Plus, just upgraded from the K40....

If you look at the first picture in the first post under pre-vinyl, you will see the location of my front diffuser heads, they are fixed to my Gemballa lower bumper above the mesh.....my main unit is installed in the lower center console and the LED lights are stealth mounted in the dash...... I will try and dig up a picture of the main unit in the interior.....

DinoRocz---I ended up deciding to go pretty late, but there is always next year!!!!!

More track pictures.....

Some of the time they were there to help us out, keep an eye on the cars while we were sleeping....

But....most of those shots were random traffic stops along the way....
