JK....wow, treat that above article like a journal entry that will make you cringe later in life when you read how you felt or thought...... if you think a job makes you the person you are, keep making mistakes and learning. The chick can kick rocks, she will get fat one day, or wake up in suburbia wife hell from the blind follower/consumerist choices she made.

That scar will heal up slowly but always will be there and maybe even tear open a bit along the way but it will heal.

I was that way in my 20's, took a job with a large bank, was moved to downtown chicago living in executive funded apartment at Clark/Huron.

Great pay, benefits, and behind the scenes access.........then after 7 years poof, all gone, and I reinvented myself into a new career via reading, watching demo's on youtube, books for dummies, and Subject matter experts. Had to lease out 1-2 rooms at a time in the house, drive a limo bus on the weekends........but I learned a ton, observed and met numerous people from all walks of life, and now I am building my way back up.

Now Im in tech, my eyes are opened after the wretched economic turn in 07-08 started the bloodletting of overprinted US dollars in the form of housing equity disappering overnight.
