Hey guys am over from the 996tt area with a problem with my wifes 05 cayenne.... Help it's killing us .... for no special reason we have develoded a chirping sound in the cabin, it does not increase with rpms and only shows up when the car is moving,coasting, breaking make no difference , tried with windows down nope, opened sunroof still chirping. the chirping is getting louder, but is not always the same sound level... any ideas ??? at times it's from the drivers side but then will move to the riders side... and yes i checked we have no small animals in the car

the bird will be quite.... the answear is drive shaft support mount.. got the fix from vertex auto they are in pano and willl give a pca discount.

 

I thought I would be the fan. Mine sounded like what you described. What parts were needed and how much?

 

Agree with the fan comment...had the same thing in 2008 Cayenne S. Bearing in the Blower fan...Replaced with CPO warranty. No noise now
