Had a call from the very nice man this morning - I can pick up my new Turbo this thursday.

All I have to do is CHAPS over a shed load of money and we're good to go. Will post up some pics when it's back home on the drive.

 

Picked the new Cayenne up this morning.

First impressions very good compared to an 08 S

Bose: excellent - the Bose in my old Cayenne was pants.
PCM: Let you know when I've worked it out
Phone: works brilliantly with the iphone and bluetooth. All the contacts and address book and recent calls just appeared in the head unit and the call quality is v. good.
Interior and seats: much improved
Memory pack: still as random as ever
Auto stop/start: crisper and better than the merc.
Fuel Economy: The car is smoking weed - says it's done 23mpg so far! Yeah. right.

 

That is a thing of beauty and congrats on the purchase !! Love the all black interior. Any plans for modifications ? What kind of mileage were you getting with your 2008 ?

The 2008 S was doing about 18mpg on average - about 21/22 on a journey with any fast roads. I live in a pretty rural area and most of the daily journey is small tracks stopping and starting for cows and tractors.

I'd like to do a few mods though at some point. I've never looked at what's available for the Cayenne so all suggestions gratefully received.

 

Wow nice ride! Wish I had the money to get a newer TT but my 05 is doing just fine for now . But as far as the mods go if you want to get quick HP gains just get a good tune. God that is beautiful!
