3rd Party Warranty options in Canada

Any recommendations on extended warranty products for a Cayenne Turbo 2011 that's out of factory warranty? Need something in Canada

Only one I know of so far recommended by a Porsche Dealer in BC is SAL Warranty , classic plan underwritten by Industrial Alliance.

Have attached the scan, needless to say, it's a bit of a concern getting a warranty that doesn't list specific exclusions. I haven't the slightest if they'll just weasel out of everything like the horror stories I've read. Plus at 5k+tx it's pricey. For 80,000km/4yrs

As always with warranties, you will statistically lose. Similar to playing slots in a casino. Not saying it cannot pay for itself (there are some good stories), just that the odds are not in your favor. IMO, you are better off paying for the repairs as they come.

Of course, if you want to get a third party warranty, best of luck to you.

Whatever you do, READ THE FINE PRINT. I bought a 3rd party warranty several years back for a RR Supercharged and the only problem I ever had the company wouldn't cover because it was excluded in the fine print (supercharger coolant pump). If it were me I would forego a 3rd party warranty after that experience...

it's hard to get excited about 3rd pay wtys...

They make a lot of money for people who are good at selling them but often do not pay off for the people buying. $5000+txs is is nice piece of change. I would save that and use it towards my next repair or trade.
