Fuel Pump(s) / Specifications
Hi All,
I performed a search... honest!
I am at a state of total confusion on my 09 GTS.
Symptoms:
Long crank time (5-7 seconds when cold, 1-3 when hot)
Farting and Knocking under load (Driving 2,500 - 4,000 RPM)
Smooth acceleration if you are VERY slow getting on the pedal but still seems weak
Smooth as silk entire power band with no load (parked)
Remedies to date:
Replaced Fuel Filter (tank)
Replaced both pumps in tank
Replaced Coils and plugs
Not tried yet:
High Pressure Pump on Engine
Fuel Pressure Regulator (passenger side under rear seat)
Need to know Specification on (Durametric values posted in brackets):
Fuel Pressure upstream of Throttle Valve (902.7mBar)
Fuel High Pressure Set Point (40 BAR)
Fuel Pressure Acutal Value (40 BAR)
Following Durametric Codes rpesent (reset and then returned after driving)
2110
2610
0203
0603
0403
0003
I believe the 0203 code is indicating a failed fuel injector on sylinder 3 which I will replace. However, I am still leaning towards a faiing HPFP on the engine. Any Porsche Zen Masters on this forum that may have enlightenment?
Cheers,
Al
