Question Anyone know what Trailer Coupling with removable ball joint is?

Most every Cayenne being sold (with a hitch) has the "Trailer Coupling without Removable Ball Joint" as opposed to the "Trailer Coupling with removable ball joint.

The new rig i'm picking up this weekend has the "with removable ball joint". I believe i've seen pictures of this and it looks much different than a typical trailer hitch unit.

Can anyone help me understand if there are any limitations with the removable ball joint vs. the one without the removable ball joint?

Thanks in advance!

OK....disregard. It turned out to be a misprint on the vehicle's description. While verifying all the options via the paperwork and detailed pictures, it was inaccurately listed and the dealer just confirmed.

To make matters worse, there is no hitch so i will have to add one. A $650 factory option turns out to be a $1800-$2000 cost now.

Good grief, not a good start to a new CPO Turbo. I'm doing my best to work things out with a dealer that's located about 8-hour from me.

Its official...
picked up my Turbo from an excellent Porsche dealer near Chicago yesterday.

Below pic: Removing the Turbo II wheels and installing my 20" winters (Victor Zehns and Blizzaks). Drives like a dream

At some point, i will order the hitch kit from SunCoast ($999) and either instal myself, or get a few additional quotes and go from there.
