what to look out for on a 2008 turbo with

I know i'll need a ppi but what's the common stuff to look out for on a 2008 turbo with 100k miles? I know the coolant pipes are still plastic but better design and no known failures? PDCC/air susp. failures common? Driveshaft guibo? Waterpump? I'm not concerned about normal wear/tear items such as brakes/tires/coilpack/plugs. Thanks.

2008 has revised coolant pipes, and don't have the problems others had

When we bought our 08 with 83k on it it needed a water pump. Had the driveshaft mount go out while towing the boat a few weeks ago, so that problem is still around apparently.

The 08' still has a coolant fitting in the back of engine that will pop out over time. It needs pinning or the OEM updated part (requires engine removal). I have heard it has 1 plastic pipe as well under the intake manny.

To me the most important thing is complete up to date maintenance. If the vehicle has been properly maintained from the beginning, it will likely continue to be a very dependable vehicle. If not, it could be very costly to bring up to date and do the repairs and upgrades that are necessary at, and by, 100,000 miles.

I just pulled the engine on my '08 CTT to replace the rear coolant distribution manifold - the glue failed that holds a pipe stub in the manifold. While it was out I also replaced all the coolant hoses, the thermostat housing (has two glued in pipes), thermostat and replaced the single coolant tube/tee with a new aluminum version.

The new manifold from Porsche is no longer glued but threaded and lock nutted. It is never coming out.
