Quality body shop with $4,000 will not be able to get the rear end fixed. My guess is at least $2,000 for the front and another $6,000 if not more for the rear. It seems like it was hit pretty hard, and I hope you don't have any frame damages. Can't tell if your quarter panels are damaged along with your front fenders. If they are, $10,000+...

Again. It won't cost him anything. Deductible at the most. My 4,000 didn't count in as much for the back door skin as it should but add another 2,000. Porsche parts are not as over-expensive as the small plastic do-dads would indicate. Additionally, he should have his estimate by now.

Some idiot made a left turn in front of my wife and totaled our 1 months new Cayenne. The insurance agent were trying to total up the repair cost and it easily topped $20K, at which point they just wrote it off. They gave us the total purchase price of the new Cayenne minus the first month payment which we have already paid.

No matter how safe you drive, there will be idiots out there to cause you grief. Stay safe!

Ouch! But I hope everyone walked away with minimal injuries!

Yeah other than wife's traumatic experience, the car saved her life. As a result I'm now the primary driver of the replacement Cayenne, because she says it brings back the horrid memory of the accident.

Was the vehicle illegally lifted that hit you?

I see a big repair bill, trying to get that liftgate aligned properly with the hinges, etc.
