Can I hard wire my rear blinker to my front?

My front blinker on the drivers side just won't work and I get a warning. I replaced the bulb, added bulb grease, bent the pin up and out on the side, cleaned contacts, but no front blinker. Is there a way to wire it into the rear blinker without getting a code? Doubt it's the signal lever because the rear works. I tried to push the assembly in more and tighten, but no dice. This is a 2004 Cayenne Turbo

Come on guys. Someone has to know what's the deal with these darn blinkers. Not the bulb, clean contacts, not the lever, Durametric scanner says something like "exceeded level" on front blinker? Any help? Thanks

Seems to be a little slow in here lately. I don't know if I've heard of this affecting the turn signal but the wiring harness is a known weak point for the headlights. I had issues with my headlights and after cleaning the main plug and using some Stabilant on it I haven't had any more issues. I know some have resorted to removing the plug on the bracket and hard wiring to the headlight.

Altering the wiring harness is an open invitation for major headaches. Take it to your dealer and have them replace the turn signal socket - or repair the existing one. These are not the proper cars to change wiring around on. Can you do it? Everything is possible.

Fixed. Just wired from front fuse area to the bulb. No warnings or anything now.
