Full cayenne plasti dip "Flame" away

It's DYC electric lime green with green pearl and gloss top coat. My wife was 100% against it but it's my sons favorite color and he loves it. if you see the sign in the background that's my business so next week I'll be putting that on all four sides so it is a driving advertisement. Enjoy and like I said flame away I'd like to hear what people think good and bad.

Excellent dip job! Looks really good. Pearls are nice and the new gloss coat is bad @ss. Very good work. I like it!

Very ballC! Anyways it is plasti-dip. You can change it whenever you like. Great job and the finishing looks amazing! Too bad in California it's not allowed. I would like to do mine matte white with a hint of gloss. Definitely you'll attract more people
good luck!!

It's a wild finish, so maybe it would look more at home with a few wilder mods , maybe a bit lower or some wheel arch extensions. I think it would look awesome on a GTS

Just curious... why is plasti-dip not allowed in California?

FWIW, the electric green looks pretty good for such a loud color. Even so, I can't help but to think that that color would look even better on a 958 for some reason.

They said because California is too hot and the fumes and chemicals of the plasti-dip when the sun hits the car are bad for the environment, people in the car and around the car. I guess just all rules and regulations of Cali. Btw dipyourcar.com will not ship the whole kit to cali. I think only spray cans...

I think it looks great and if it makes your son happy then that's most important! I do agree though, a wild color like that could use some wilder mods to back it up, like lowering or different, more aggressive wheels.

I like it. I might choose a different color if doing my own, but especially using it for advertising that is a great bright color!! The gloss looks pretty nice too.

I did my wheels with black plasti dip and they came out pretty nice. Did the roof rails but part of one peeled when I unmasked it,

^^^Gotta peel it when it's still wet and at an angle so it doesn't pull. Give it another shot...should look really good on the rails!

How do you do that when you are supposed to put 4-5 coats on? It worked well on the wheels. It was actually more work taking them off the car and cleaning them up than it was spaying them. But I didn't mask the tires either. Just sprayed and the excess peeled right off the tires.

I want to do the rest of the trim black too but bought vinyl. Might need to rethink that and try plastidip if I can figure out how to mask it.

you just have to peel it when your last coat is still wet. but that's not the best way to do it. what I do is tape about 3 inches away from the rail and plasti dip the rail and the roof. then peel the tape and the plasti dip off the roof and it will cut on its own at the rail.

^^^^Yes. You need to peel it after your last coat and it's still wet/tacky to get the best results. Skigod-never tried that before, I will have to try that on a future project!

I did my rails in black dip, I took them off the car rather than masking. Made it a lot easier and they look perfect after a year.

Also did the silver trim on the lift gate right below the window, and the lower silver trim across the doors with it. I did vinyl on the door pillars though
