Generally when I receive a phone call on my 2016 Base Cayenne I get a notification in the PCM screen where I can accept or reject it. But if my PCM screen is in the Map mode (whether or not I have Navigation on) I don't get hat option. Instead I get a small notification on the bottom of the screen that inhale a call but I can't accept it from the PCM. Is this normal? The manual didn't mention this quirk at all.

 

You should be able to change that in your settings menu.

 

Any advice on how to do that would be appreciated. I couldn't find anything that permitted me to change it. But I'm hoping I'm overlooking something

 

I'll take a look on the cayenne tomorrow for you. However, mine is a 2014. Not sure if it's different.

Yes, apparently that is the normal function and there isn't a way to override that (checked with Porsche too). ​ You can still pick up the phone by pressing the "Pick up" button. ​ There is one on your steering wheel and just under the touch screen. Wish I had better news.
