The Hybrid System Fault warning light just came on in my 2012 Cayenne Hybrid. Wouldn't you know it as the warranty expired last month... Does anyone have any insight as to what this means? The gas engine still seems to be functioning properly but the electric does not engage. Any help greatly appreciated!!

 

As a guess - sorry - but I think what it means is your hybrid is going to get quite expensive quickly.

 

Hi, does anyone have issues the hybrid system?

I get a yellow warning on the dash 'Fault hybrid system' if driven really hard for about 15min. It disappears after cooling off. Otherwise the vehicle shows no other symptoms.
