958 tt. If i floor it in 1st, it wont shift into second and will bounce off redline until i let go off gas. If i do it manually, it shift fine.

Any ideas?

 

If you don't floor it - it shifts normally? Never really tried flooring mine from a stop, so can't say if that's normal behavior or not.

 

You may be experiencing a solenoid failure in the transmission. What could be happening is that one of the shift control solenoids on the valve body is failing when the gear selector is in auto. Have the basics like fluid level/condition been checked?
