buying a CPO 2014 Cayenne?

Hi, new to the forum...planning on buying a CPO 2014 Cayenne.

Price:
$ 48,990.00
Condition:
Certified
Mileage:
26,748 mi
Exterior Color:
Mahogany Metallic
Interior Color:
Standard Interior in Black/Luxor Beige
Transmission:
8-speed Tiptronic S with Auto Start Stop function

* Just serviced and Porsche Certified giving you an additional 2 year/50,000 mile Porsche warranty after the factory warranty expires.

* Original service date is: 10/2014

1. Is this a good deal?
2. Is leasing better?
3. is getting an extended warranty worth it?
4. I'm in IL, vehicle is in PA. Is there a 'checklist' I can use before I buy?

Thanks.

Need a bit more info. Engine, audio, suspension, sunroof, 2 zone or 4 zone HVAC, seats (number of adjustments, heated, ventilated), interior, trailer hitch.

A base level Cayenne list for around $60k brand new, but you can easily add $30k in options.

That obviously will change the value of a used Cayenne. And different engines can more than double the out the door price of a Cayenne. A well equipped Turbo-S can easily top $145k out the door new.

Need more info.

That sounds like a fairly simple base model. With the items that are not listed I would guess it was around $70-80k new. It sounds like an ok deal. Not a steal but ok.

With the CPO there isn't much reason to purchase an extended warranty, at least not until the CPO is almost up. These aren't really troublesome vehicles. My '11 hasn't had any real problems, just normal wear items. I did pay to have my Variocam adjusters replaced as a preventative measure. I expect with the new recall NHTSA has issued, I'll recoop that expense. That issue is specific to the '11 V8 engines (with a few '09 and '12 outliers.) It doesn't effect the V6 series cars.
