My '05 Cayenne S has been flawless during the 2 1/2 years I've owned it until this past Friday. I was had just parked and noticed a burnt plastic smell in the cabin. I turned off the radio, but heard a clicking/popping noise coming from the speakers. I went to roll down the windows to let the smoke out, but the passenger window wouldn't roll down (never had that problem before). I then noticed wisps of smoke coming from between the windshield and dash. I took my keys out of the ignition, but the popping/clicking continued. I popped the fuse box open and pulled the fuse for the radio (fuse was intact and cold), but the sound continued. Any ideas of what is up? Anyone know of a good Porsche electrical specialist in the SF North Bay area?
