On my boss' Cayenne, on the interior rear passenger doors, there is a small compartment under the handle that can pop out. The pop out has a shapely interior with a couple ball detents, one on either side as well as a light and a thin, textured piece of 'rubber' on the bottom. It looks as tho it was designed to hold something specific, especially considering the ball detents. The compartment opens about 2"-3". I thought it might be an ashtray, but there is already one in the middle console in the rear. I am not sure what year his Cayenne is and my boss had no idea the compartments even existed until I pointed them out to him

Does anyone know what the function of the compartment is? Below is an image of an interior door that I snagged off the internet with the compartment outlined. I was unable to find any with the compartment open.

hi , does anyone know what is this square pocket in the passengers door ? This is a 2015 gts panamera. A bit strange wondering if there is a reason for it. Thanks
