Question on Seconardy Cat Bypass for Cayenne GTS

I am about to get my first mod for the Cayenne GTS, and looking at the Fabspeed Seconary Bypass Pipe.
How is your experience with smog test? Upon resale of the car, would you revert back to stock, and part out the pipe?
Reason why I asked is I am also considering a customized one to save on costs, but concerned on the resale cost of it too.
Lastly, about how much does it take to have this installed at a local car shop?
Thanks!

I installed one on my 09GTS several years ago. I am in NJ and there was no impact on my bi-yearly state inspection. Love the sound of it and would do the same upgrade in a heartbeat. Not sure I would go through all the effort of removing it, most people would opt to do this upgrade in the future anyway. I still have the originals if I wanted to, but I'm thinking of selling them as I don't think I'm ever going to go back to them. I had the dealer install mine back in 2016, the cost was $300+$100 in parts, I'm sure an indy/muffler shop can do it for much less.

Hello, but I'm considering selling them because I don't believe I'll ever use them again. Back in 2016, I had the dealer install my for $300 plus $100 in parts; I'm sure an indy/muffler shop could do it for much cheaper. villa for sale in turkey

The days at that price are gone. No indy would touch the DPs on 9Y0 4.0L for $300.

smog testing is completely unaffected by secondary cat bypass pipes. the 955/957 cayenne have 4 catalytic converters (2 functional cats and 2 resonator type cats). the rear ones that this system bypasses do not effect any emissions systems what so ever. they are used for the sole purpose of reducing exhaust noise.

here's a old video before my cayenne turned into a safari truck that I just uploaded so that you can see what a cayenne with fab speed intakes, cat bypass pipes, tune and exhaust tips (majority of the noise comes from the tips believe it or not)
