Night Vision Assist (NVA) in real world?

Hi,

I'm interested in adding this feature either as a stand alone or as part of the Assistant Package. Anybody out there with real world feedback around this feature? Would you recommend it - can you elaborate?

Something I wanted to pair with Porsche Active Safe (PAS).

Thank you in advance.

Old post, but thought I would provide sone input on this. I have night vision on my Panamera and my Taycan, and would say that it depends on where you drive. If you drive mostly in the city, then it might not be a worthwhile option, however for more country side or suburban driving, especially in areas where you may encounter deers or other animals/pedestrians 😉 it is a very effective safety feature I would highly recommend.

You don’t really use the camera for improving your own vision, but the infrared provides an alert and marks anything that may be a collision threat in your line of direction. This can be very difficult to see, even with good lights.
