Luftgekuhlt is one of the largest air-cooled Porsche gatherings on the planet and we're lucky to have it right in our backyard here in California! This years event, Luft 8 was held last Saturday and as expected, featured some absolutely incredible examples of Porsche engineering.

 

I know it’s been a while since this thread was active, but I just found it and couldn’t scroll past those photos—some of those builds are unreal. Did anyone attend Luft 9 or planning for Luft 10? Curious to hear how the vibe compares across the different venues, especially between West Coast vs Midwest events. Thinking of making the trip this year and would love to hear what stood out most for others.

 

I’ve got a bunch of my Luft 8 shots on a nixplay.com frame in my office—it’s a great way to keep them rotating without cluttering my walls. The cars in that show just pop on screen, and it’s cool seeing the details up close again, especially the ones I didn’t notice in person.
