Just make sure you go to a busy gas station. As long as they get lots of traffic, the octane should be close. I was told by someone last night that Shell's 91 is actually closer to 92.
Dugans is off of Santa Fe and Union area, I think just south of 285. They close early though.

And they're not open on Sundays. I just stopped by this afternoon and they were closed. The 100 pump had a bag over it too, so I think they might be out.

I heard about that one, but wasn't sure if it was still being used. I have been to so many of the ones I listed above and most are gone. I think I might have been to this one, is it on a corner with one pump all by itself? It was out of fuel the day I went.

I spoke to the Unocal information guy, he is just like the Maytag repair man. I was the first person to call him. For my car which is an S2000 with a 13 gallon tank 2 gallons of 100 octane unleaded and 11 of 91 will produce 93.4 octane.

(2 gallonsx100 + 11gallonsx91)/13 gallons= 92.4 octane. So the number he gave you is actually higher than reality. The number I just calculated is the correct one. if you want 93.4, you may need to go to 3 gallons
Dave, do you have a cross street or address?

its a 'kwik corner'
basically 287 out of longmont, at the light where it says berthoud to the right - go right there, and its on the right hand side less than 100yds down the road.

[quote=Prche951;2976728]yes, it is a very simple calculation, that is probably why no one has called him before.

For my Mugen ECU I need 93 and I am pretty sure he was correct. Because I it was very marginal on 92 in Or, I had to be very gentle on the throttle to keep it from knocking. Where as with the blending chart he sent me It never knocks. And he told me to be very wary of octane boosters since you end up with a strange ****tail in your tank. I used 2 bottles of CD2 off road in an emergency. It is the octane booster which raises the octane a point all the others (if you reed the fine print) only increase by 0.1 octane.

Hey Everyone...Just wanted to let you know that Duggan Petroleum sold the business to Pynergy Petroleum Company on October 1st. The good news is that we are investing heavily in racing fuels, when supply had been a bit suspect over the past couple of years with Duggan. We currently carry TrackTek Racing fuel in 101, 105 and 111 octanes. Later this winter we will be bringing in 114 and 118 just in time for the racing season. We are already starting to see many of our snowmobile customers gearing up for what will hopefully turn into a great season. So if you need racing fuel for your custom ride, high performance car, motorcycle or everything in between come and visit us at

or call us at 303-292-5005
