PCM 2.1 Update Question/Request

Hi all,

Just took delivery of my '05 CTT. Very excited to have it here, pictures to come...

I checked the SW version on the PCM 2.1 and found that it is 1.0. I've read the forums and it seems there are two stages of update required, first to version 2.1 (Model A) and then to 3.1 (Model B). It looks like I need these updates before I can get the updated Navigation maps DVD...

I am assuming the 2010 NAV DVD does not include the SW update discs that will take the original SW to the Model B stage (right?), so I was hoping that someone on here has them to loan out...? If that is the case, would you PM me (with your email as I can't return PMs) yet...

Thanks in advance,
Steve

Thanks for the response...'05 CTT -- Cayenne Twin Turbo. Sorry for the confusing shorthand...

Question was regarding software update of the (Cayenne) PCM 2.1 software. I have software version 1.0, which is what came installed in 2005 when the truck was new, along with the 2004 Navigation DVD.

From review of these boards, I understand PCM 2.1 got a firmware update from the original version (1.0) to a "Model A" (version 2.0), and subsequently an update to "Model B" (3.0). If I purchase a new Nav DVD from suncoast, I am concerned it will not be supported by the software version 1.0 currently installed, so I'm looking for help on that front.

Thanks again,
Steve
