I’m not sure what they put in the water down under, possibly wallabies, but it seems that whenever a big auto maker executive goes to the land of Kangaroos and poisonous everything, they open their mouths and start talking about future vehicles and plans for the company. In this instance, the company executive is John Elsworth, COO of Hyundai Australia, and he got all loose lipped about the forth-coming Genesis Coupe set to debut soon.

According to Elsworth, the next Coupe might go more of a luxury route like its big brother the Genesis Sedan. Since the death of the Tiburan, Hyundai has been making more of a concerted effort in making the new Genesis Coupe a proper sports car, and for the longest time rumors persisted that the Coupe would be also getting the same V8 in its Sedan brother.
