anyone see the new instrument cluster on the new CCX?

http://www.seriouswheels.com/2007/20...r-1280x960.htm

the "3D" layout is supposed to help the driver by only requiring him/her to focus on a single point. Rather than actually looking at where each needle is pointing, it is supposedly possible to get a general idea of the data by looking at the relative angles of the needles.

that's a clever idea! Although, I wonder how it looks in daylight and if it isn't too messy. hm.
why is it showing both boost and bar by the way? I thought bar was for turbo measuring only but I'm no mod person.

Yeah, I drove one at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway Roadcourse. Unbelievable vehicle. Though the highlight is, of course, the performance, what really amazed me is how flexible it is. You can lug the engine from down low and it still has gobs of torque. You can be off line and it doesn't bite you the way many other supercars do. Simply amazing.

I took some a bit of video. Unfortunately, Justin Bell ('97 FIA GT2 & '98 Le Mans GT2 champion), the guy driving in the first video, wasn't allowed to really push it:
