long time lurker looking for some advice on a full detail

hey everyone, first off i want to thank alot of the people on this forum for having such informative articles and responding to questions in an informative and friendly manner. That said and *** kissing set aside I own an '06 M3 AW ZCP that is ready for a full detail job. I have some swirl marks from terry-cloth drying my car when i first got it. I routinely wax the car atleast every other month as it is my daily driver. My general routine now is wash with menzerna shampoo and wash mitt, dry with one of those jelly blades and microfiber towels. I do that weekly, and wax once a month-ish.

I 'm going to order a DA porter cable, menzerna apo 60 sealing wax, green and white finishing pads, adams car wash and detail spray, p21s wheel cleaner. Am i missing anything for the DA (this is my first time using it so i want to make sure i'm getting the right stuff).

thanks in advance.

apo 60 does not work well unless you use it at 1500 rpms. A pc is not going to give that level of performance. I strongly recommend 1z metalic polish and Glanz as a sealant. both will work very well with a PC.

My exp with apo 60 is well mixed i have used it on 5-6 cars all have been super curvy. Eilise etc. It is not my favorite, it flings and slings, it can stain the trim if left to dry.
