detailing advice needed. help. sos.
i went to yosemite a couple of days ago. there was road construction on 120. i should have just turned around and left, but i kept on going. the road had these tiny small glass-like chips on it which, due to heat, got glued to the car in many different places: on the wheels, above the exhaust pipes, etc:

this stuff is stuck on there for good. i was going to refinish the wheels anyways, so i am sure when they powdercoat them, they can blast all of this stuff off. but how do i get rid of this stuff from under the car, inside of wheel wells, on top of exhaust tips?
there is a place in san jose which does steam cleaning under the car. i was thinking of taking the car there and having them steam clean this crap out. what it work?
also, that is first part of the problem. the second part of the problem is that now my paint is all covered in these little tiny black spots which have baked themself into wax (and possible clear coat... hopefully not paint). the whole rear bumper and lower parts of the doors look like this:

you can see more hi-res photos here:

so... any advice on how to remove this ****? i tried AIO klasse and it seems to work somewhat... anything better for this purpose?
thanks!

Just looked at your pictures in high res. The spots on the paint can be clayed off. You will then have to polish and wax again. As far as the wheels, you'll need to scrape off the larger chunks of debris using a plastic putty knife. Once the wheels feel smooth, you can then tackle the residue with a mild cleaner like zymol Strik. Let it dwell for about 15 minutes and then use a microfiber towel to clean up the wheels. Here's a few pics of the zymol Strik removing cosmoline; similar in concepts as what you're going to remove.
Before:

After:

As far as the undercarriage, just be careful using a pressure washer. You can try getting 3M Tar Remover. Test a small area and see how it reacts with the various metal and plastic surfaces.
