Gday from down under

Hi guys and girls,

I'm new to the forum and thought I'd intorduce myself. I quickly looked for an Intros thread but couldnt see one, since I am a pro detailer, and will probably spend a lot of my time in this section, I figured Id do it here.

My name is Brett and I have been a car nut for as long as I can remember. I love all cars from Classics to Jap performance to supercars and exotics.
My first car was a 1975 Triumph 2500TC which I took over ownership of from my old man at the age of 17. I loved that car, and that was when the passion of detailing began. Although I wish I had've known then, what I know now!

I live in Perth Western Australia and have had my own mobile detailing business for a little over 2 years now. Previous to that I was detailing as an employee in England for 3years (Alfa Romeo, VW and Vauxhall).
My specialty is High gloss Polishing and paint rectification, particularly on the later ceramic paints coming out of Germany.
Products of choice are Menzerna (obviously for their Nano tech ) for polishing, and Swissvax for just about anything else.
I have built my business from nothing starting off in the less prestigeous car yards and building up from there. I now do 95% of my work on prestige vehicles and spend about 50% of my time detailing for one of the Mercedes dealers here.

I have no intention of trying to push my business on any of you (lets face it, its hard to do since im half a world away from most of you) as Im pretty much flat out with the work I have. Really I just want to talk to owners of prestige vehicles and other pro detailers to share tips and help with any problems.

Current ride is a humble 2003 Subaru Forester. But with the love it gets you'd swear I drive a $500K exotic.

I look forward to talking with you all.

Cheers
Brett
