Cotton Porsche Cover

911/996: Don't want to drive my Porsche over the winter time. Is the cotton Porsche cover good enough for light protection?
Is there any better alternative?

If you car is indoors, then the cotton cover is fine. Just make sure to do a proper wash and wax prior to tucking her away. Also, make sure the cover is washed and clean as well. If stored outside, you need a breathable fabric that allows air to circulate and moisture to escape from beneath.

We have got lots of rain, snow her in Germany - probably nothing new for you .
SONAX is a very good brand here in Germany that offers all sorts of polish, wax, l´clenears and seal also for the wintertime.

I would keep my car inside because of the heavy salt in the street and the little stones that carve some good scars into your car....
Where can I get the original cooton Porsche car cover from?

I just completed my cover research and decided to go with a 100% cotton flannel (indoor) from www.autochic.com, runner-up was www.calcarcover.com. They both carry outdoor covers as well.
