Gilmour Foam Master II Foam Gun Assembly Question

For you guys that got the foam gun from Phil, I have a question. There is a small black plastic part that comes with the gun listed as the "deflector" in the parts list of the instructions. But it is not mentioned in the brief assembly instructions and I can't tell where it is supposed to be installed.

Can anyone who has assembled the foam gun help me out?

Thanks!

Barrister,

You can't connect both. It's either you connect the long black piece or the deflector.

Thanks! That confirms what Phil told me by email as well.

I can't wait to try it out this weekend.

Well, what did you think? Tried mine for the first time today, and really liked it. I live in the country on a well, so a little short on pressure, but enough to make it work! Really seemed to shorten the process. Foamed the whole car, wiped with micro-fiber mitt, and rinsed.

PS, for anyone interested . . . I purchased this nozzle for winter underbody washes (MN salt, you know . . .) but use it all the time. The fan shape spray is great for rinses. http://www.griotsgarage.com/product/...+water+wand.do
