The 7424 XP has increased power, bumping their motor from 3.7 amps to 4.5 amps and increased the OPMs from 6,000 to 6,800. This will allow for breaking down polishes more effectively and removing more imperfections. The 7424 XP also has better ergonomics, such as better dial placement, and improved the on/off switch to be more reliable.
