Detailer's Domain: 335i coupe - fixing other detailer's mistakes

2010 BMW 335 I Coupe

This car came to us with swirls and huge haze marks. The customer called me upset about what a local detailer recently did to his new car. What the detailer did was rip thru the car in 3 hours with a compound and glaze. i believe this was not necessary at all especially on a new car. Damage done. The car was fixed with M105 - SIP - PO85RD
Last Step = Swissvax Blau Weiss

What was done -
Exterior

- Wheels were prepped with Sonax Wheel Cleaner and cleaned up with various brushes
- Tires were spritzed down with P21S Total Autowash and washed down
- Wheel wells were spritzed down with P21S Total Autowash
- Wash down and rinsed
- Door jambs were cleaned up
- Clayed
- Dried
- Paint inspected and measured
- Wheel Wells were cleaned and dressed with Adam's Undercarriage Spray
- Tires dressed with Swissvax Pneu
- Masking
- 3 Step Paint correction (Meguiars M105 with an Uber Yellow, Menzerna Super Intensive Polish with an Uber Green and Menzerna PO85RD with an Uber Blue)
- Inspection with Fenix, 3m Sun Gun, Infratech, and natural sunlight
- Last Step - Swissvax Blau Weiss
- Rubber and Plastics Treated
- Exterior windows and mirrors cleaned and sealed
- Exhaust tips cleaned

Phil, excellent work as usual.

I couldn't help but notice the amount of debris on the clay. It makes me suspect that the car as a little neglected (in addition to the damage done prior to arriving in your hands.)

Its also very hard to tell the condition of the paint when the pictures are taken of the car dirty. What about giving the car a wash and dry and then taking the pictures of the paint?
