Recomendation -carpet protection & bug remover

Experts:

I live in Houston. We have constant rain and plenty of juicy bugs. I am seeking guidance. A couple of questions:

1. Is it advisable to apply a spray protectant on the interior carpet to protect it from spills and every day gunk? If so, why brand seems to be the best?

2. What is the best advice around a chemical to remove bugs and tar that collect on the exterior? Can it be purchased at the local auto parts store?

3. What's the best all weather floor mat for a P car? I have used Weather Tech in the past on other makes. They seems to fit well and keep the carpet clean.

Sure appreciate your help!

As far as a spray protectant for your carpeting 3M Scotchgard does a pretty good job.

1z Anti-Insekt Bug Remover is going to be your best bet. Easily removes bugs, and doesn't strip off wax.

The factory rubber mats are the best we have seen.

Best of luck!
