What happened to Moe from Glistening Perfections? I see he is no longer a sponsor and has not posted recently. The kid who does my cars ordered some products from him with a debit card. He has not received the items and none of his many calls have been returned. I gave him Moe's name because I had some towels from Moe and he loved them. I feel somewhat responsible. The kid does not have a lot of $ and ordered them specifically to use on my cars. I will make him whole as I feel at blame but "Where is Moe."

I traded emails with him last week and he explained his absence as follows,

"I've just taken a little hiatus right now and working on a few projects that require my undivided attention. Been getting lots of emails about 6speeders wanting me to get back on the board...should be back in a month or so."

I thought about posting an update but figured he could do that himself. Good luck getting your products. Maybe try to contact him by email.

 

Thanks for the info. I did email him before I posted as I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt. I've spent over $1,500.00 with him and really feel bad about this kid getting stiffed based on my recommendation. Taking a break is one thing but not sending paid for products is, well, criminal.

 

I agree. Very unlike him. I know some members who follow this thread have been to his business, so maybe somebody could go take a look for you.

 

I know Moe just had a new baby boy, so his life is pretty upside down right now But knowing him personally for the past few years, he does not stiff his customers. I'll try to contact him and see if he is aware of this transaction.

 

I just received a wonderful email from Moe. I am certainly glad to hear from him as I really thought it was out of character for him to do what he did. He just helped too many people here for too long a time. He is going to take care of my guy and I sure hope he returns to "active" status on 6speed shortly. Moe - glad to hear from you and I think I speak for all on 6speed - please get back asap. Your advice here is invaluable. Also congratulations on your new arrival. Remember, you're not a man until you've had baby sh*t under your fingernails.

 

That's funny, as I've never heard of a newborn referred to as a "project that requires my undivided attention" but I guess it fits. Hopefully he'll be back soon.
