Best to take it off, otherwise you can steam, or use a mild acid based cleaner with a qtip.

You can tape the surrounding areas off to be extra careful. If you don't tape, make sure to rinse the area first with water.

Amazing job but 5 days and 35 hours? that's a lot! I guess the total cost was close to 1k!
