Wheels-How to clean

I have the lightweight OEM wheel option on my Vantage. Inside the spokes it is painted and the face is a polished aluminum.

I had noticed some time ago a little pitting/small chips in the painted portion and assumed it was rock chips.....well, it's getting worse and I fear its weak wheel durability and brake dust.

I only wash the car once a week (garaged and driven 1xweek aprox 100 miles) but clean off the wheel with a cotton cloth every week.

Is there something I should be doing different as this is terrible!

Thanks in advance

A surface that been compromised by rock chips and alkali brake dust is a very corrosive combination
I would clean the wheels with P21S Wheel Cleaner and use Wheel Woolies and/or a Daytona Wheel Brush, and then a coating type product (Opti0Coat b Optimum Polymer Technologies) or similar to provde a durable surface protection

I don't think you're going to be able to do much about them pitting. It's just part of driving them.

Clean them with p21s gel wheel cleaner and use an ez-detail brush to get inside barrels. Put on a good sealant like rejex and call it a day. Make sure to clean the wheels during each wash.
