BTB works, but you have to re-apply every few weeks or so. Are there any similar products out there that perform a lot better/last much longer?

Part should be clean and dry. If more than one coat is needed, allow to dry thoroughly between coats.

I ordered some Wolfgang trim restorer. We'll see how it works when I get it.

 

Definitely other products that are far better...and some already listed.

The one I have had the most success with is Black WOW. I used on my Mini that had black plastic trim and it would last a month and B2B maybe a week.

On a car that is only driven for pleasure and not washed a couple times per week I would say it would last 2 months.

Tried the Wolfgang stuff that I spent $30 on. It seems to be ok for trim that is not badly faded. It did not restore as advertised, though. Easy to apply, but not as effective as advertised.

Back To Black works better than this stuff.

 

The trick is to clean the rubber/plastic first. You must first remove oxidation. For us 303 Aerospace works very well. I'd definitely stay away from B2B, Black Magic, etc. IMHO, they're too shiny and greasy.
